Coming eventually.lol Recommended feeding and care guidelines.
Recommended: raw chicken with bones are a must to any good diet. You can supplement the dry food with this treat twice a week. If you're not sure try it once. The smile on your dog's face will change your entire outlook on raw food for your dog. When switching over don't feed more than once a week to start. Most dogs will require a brief transition period because the stomach and digestive tract is not used to this food. Do not panic This transition is to be expected and not IMO unhealthy for the dog. In the long run I believe your dog will be much healthier with occasional fresh raw meat in their diet.
DO NOT FEED COOKED BONES PERIOD. Raw bones YES, cooked NO NO. Big beef bones can be a problem. Dogs can fracture their teeth on them so RAW Chicken bones are my preference. Also no bones for puppies period cause they are not big enough to crunch them.
Recommended: pick a few really high quality dog foods and rotate them throughout the year. Supplement with raw food extra's. My dogs love plain yogurt on their dry food. Also see my link to the Dog food Project. There you will learn about how to read the label on your dog food. You cannot trust the Brand anymore you must read the label to know if what you are using is good.
more to come.

Okay this is the greatest grooming tool ever. It's a must have for your Labradoodle. Now Doodles don't have impossible coats to manage IMO, but this baby sure makes grooming a snap. Just Google it and order away you shouldn't have to spend more than $9. Also you will not need this for the first 9 months I expect.
So how often do you need to groom. Well I tell folks, as often as you want. But hopefully you will take the time to brush you baby at least once a week for five minutes. This is great for a couple of reasons. One its bonding time for you and your doodle and two is you will be teaching your doodle to let you handle them....so try not to make it an unpleasant experience but be firm and do it.

Thank you for stopping by my website. Beau Monde means (among other things) beautiful people and while Australian Labradoodles are not people they can at times be a preferable substitute. However, I think you will find, after looking at the pictures on the website, and if you are fortunate enough to speak to an owner of one of my dogs, that Labradoodles may really just be beautiful little people.
