Hello everyone I just wanted to take a moment to discuss Obama's decision to purchase a Portuguese Water Dog also know as the PWD. PWD like Labradoodles are also purpose bred. Unlike Labradoodles the PWD were originally bred to be work dogs, as such, they are highly intelligent and very energetic. PWD's are very companionable but they require a whole lot of activity. PWD's are also well known to be jumpy dogs and most experts will agree that PWD's are not for everybody. Buyer Beware.
Labradoodles and by saying that I mean Australian Multigenerational Labradoodles are also purpose bred dogs. Unlike the PWD the Australian Labradoodle was bred to be an allergy friendly guide dog alternative. As such Labradoodles have many generations of vetting to weed out obnoxious personality traits. You will find that your Australian Labradoodle has a fantastic easy going temperament that a PWD cannot match. I have to go now. I will refine this essay in the future. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call 951.522.0058.

I like this dog. It's a good looking dog but clearly very energetic (hyper). It's clear Obama could use some help on proper dog training.
Here is an update on Obama's new dog Bo. This excerpt was taken from Fox News Web site April 22, 2009.
First dog Bo is a "kind of crazy" puppy who likes to chew on people's feet, Michelle Obama told children visiting the White House on Thursday.
The first lady is spending a lot of time walking and training the 6-month-old Portuguese water dog who became a member of the president's family last week.
An energetic breed, Bo plays well into the night, as he did on Wednesday.
"It was like 10 o'clock. Everybody was asleep and we hear all this barking and jumping around," Mrs. Obama said. "The president and I came out and we thought somebody was out there. And it was just Bo. He was playing with his ball. And it was like there was another person in the house.
"He's kind of crazy, but he's still a puppy. So he likes to play a lot," she said.

Thank you for stopping by my website. Beau Monde means (among other things) beautiful people and while Australian Labradoodles are not people they can at times be a preferable substitute. However, I think you will find, after looking at the pictures on the website, and if you are fortunate enough to speak to an owner of one of my dogs, that Labradoodles may really just be beautiful little people.
Located in Beautiful Southern California. A short drive from Los Angeles and San Diego and a quick flight to Ontario California International Airport from Northern California, Arizona, and Nevada.
