above : Labradoodles just plain fun loving companions. Photo courtesy of a satisfied client.
Don't get stuck with a Labramut. There are very few Labradoodles that are going to look this good. First crosses also known as F1b's and second generation crosses might look cute as a puppy but like all dogs but often grow up and look nothing like you thought. DON'T BE FOOLED ALL PUPPIES LOOK CUTE. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO LOOK LIKE AS ADULTS LOOK AT THE PARENTS.
Why choose an Australian Multi-generational Labradoodle?
This is not a simple question. I am going to try to condense it so if you have any questions feel free to ask.
The concept of the Labradoodle was developed in Australia by some folks who wanted a service dog for people who have allergies. The necessary elements of an allergy friendly service dog are temperament, coat quality, and health (i.e hip screening and genetic testing of parents).
The bloodlines from which my dogs originated are the result of years of focused and intensive screening to develop these qualities. The foundation bloodlines of a true Aussie multi gen has Lab, Poodle, Curly Coated Retriever, and Irish Water Spaniel so it's not just a Lab and a Poodle it is much more. Each consecutive generation is evaluated, tested, and vetted for desirable qualities and as such continues to improve and develop the breed.
Now we are breeding Multi-gen to Multi-gen and occasionally (rarely) we might infuse a poodle but the lab is now out of the picture. A guy that scraps together any old lab and any old poodle is basically going back to the very beginning without any reason other than to sell a dog as if it were essentially the same thing as a Genuine Australian Multi-generational dog and that's like saying that a Honda is the same thing as a Bentley. It is not. It is a Labramut and we used to get those at the pound for a hundred dollars not too long ago. Now that in and of its self is not a bad thing so long as one is informed as to the difference and knowingly makes a decision based upon that.
Now all puppies are cute but Labramuts don't grow up to look anything like a true Assie multi-gen. Often their coats are thin and spotty and many just look like a scrawny overgrown dog. I ran into one of these at Fashion Island not too long ago when I had taken my dogs there for a stroll (a dog friendly place). I had to ask the lady what kind of dog she had. While she clearly loved her dog it was obvious that she was captivated by my dogs. Clearly what she ended up with was nothing like what she had expected.
One final Caveat there are some folks in the USA that are breeding first and second crosses and are doing a good job of it just don't mistake those for a True Australian Multi-Gen. Also it pays to know your breeder. There are some well disguised puppy mills out there so you want to be very careful who you buy from.
These are by far some of the best looking dogs around. They will look just like the dogs on this site.
Early Depositors receive the stated litter price. Puppies not sold to early depositors are sold on a first come basis and may receive a higher price according to a number of qualifying criteria. It is wrong to think that the best puppies always sell first. A couple of examples are Della Brown, Mr Rredford, and Firefly. You can see photos of these two by clicking on the past liters tab
I have plenty of references please ask.

Thank you for stopping by my website. Beau Monde means (among other things) beautiful people and while Australian Labradoodles are not people they can at times be a preferable substitute. However, I think you will find, after looking at the pictures on the website, and if you are fortunate enough to speak to an owner of one of my dogs, that Labradoodles may really just be beautiful little people.
